In addition to our mainframe products for the retail industry, Systematic has developed companion products for the most popular in-store platforms.

Designed for the IBM 4690 Operating System (4690 OS), HostConnect/4690™ provides native TCP/IP connectivity to the mainframe. With HostConnect/4690, IBM store controllers can be easily migrated from an SNA or dial-up network to a corporate intranet or extranet.

HostConnect/4690, used in conjunction with Systematic's StoreConnect™ mainframe product,  protects the hardware, software and training investments made in the IBM store platform (still the most widely deployed). Remote file administration, software updates and data transfers are supported.
